Banana Ghosts:

  Ingredients:

  •   bananas
  •   Popsicle sticks
  •   white chocolate
  •   raisins or
  •   chocolate chips

Remove stringy fibers from the peeled bananas, then cut it in half widthwise. Push a Popsicle stick into each half through the cut end, then cover each pop with plastic wrap and freeze until firm (about 3 hours). Place a 6-ounce piece of white chocolate candy in a microwave-safe bowl and cook on high until melted (about 1 minute). Dip the frozen banana halves in the melted white chocolate. Set the pops on a waxed-paper-covered dish. While chocolate is still warm, press on candies or raisins for eyes and mouths and return the pops to the freezer until ready to serve.

Dirt Pudding

  Ingredients:

  •   2 packs of chocolate pudding
  •   orange jello
  •   whipped cream or cool whip
  •   gummy worms
  • First make 2 packages of your favorite chocolate pudding according to the recipe on the pack. Put the chocolate pudding in a clear glass container, add the gummy worms and give it a short stir. Now place some gummy worms on top of the pudding half submerged. It looks good if a worm is peeking out of the dirt. You can decorate the top with candy pumpkins and ghosts.

    Ghost Pudding

      Ingredients:

  •   2 packs of chocolate pudding
  •   whipped cream or cool whip
  •   chocolate chips for eyes
  • Make 2 packs of chocolate pudding from your favorite recipe or mix, follow the recipe on the box. Place the pudding in clear containers. Now spoon on some cool whip or whipped cream on top of the pudding and place 2 chocolate chips in the cool whip to make it look like eyes.

    Ghost Toast:

      Ingredients:

  •   Bread
  •   Margarine
  •   Coconut
  •   Chocolate Chips or Raisins
  •   Ghost Shaped Cookie Cutter
  • Toast bread as usual. After bread is toasted use a ghost shaped cookie cutter to make a ghost shape. Spread on margarine then sprinkle coconut on it. Put raisins or chocolate chips for eyes and mouth.

    Hairy Eyeballs:

      Ingredients:

    •   6 eggs, hard cooked, and peeled
    •   6 oz whipped cream cheese
    •   12 green olives with pimientos
    •   Red food coloring

    Cut cooked eggs in half the long way. Remove the yolks and fill the hole with cream cheese, leveling surface as much as possible. Press an olive into each cream cheese eyeball, pimiento side up, for an eerie green iris and red pupil. Dip a toothpick into red food coloring and draw broken blood vessels in the cream cheese.

    Popcorn Balls:

      Ingredients:

  •   1/2 cup Molasses
  •   1/2 cup Corn syrup
  •   1 1/2 sticks butter (3/4 cup)
  •   1/4 teaspoon Salt
  •   8 cups of Popped Popcorn
  • Cook 1/2 cup molasses with corn syrup until the thermometer reaches about 270 degrees. Stir in the butter and salt. Have the precooked popcorn in a bowl. Slowly stir in the mixture with a wooden spoon. Coat all of the popcorn. IMPORTANT! Butter your hands lightly and shape the popcorn into balls. Make them the size you want. Set them on wax paper and let them harden. Wrap the ones you don't eat with wax paper.

    Pumpkin krispies:

      Ingredients:

  •   1/4 cup butter
  •   10 ounces marshmallows
  •   6 cups Rice Krispies
  •   candy bits
  •   orange food coloring
  • 1. Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and food coloring and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. 2. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. 3. Press mixture into balls and place on wax paper when done.

    Skeleton Hands:

      Ingredients:

  •   Popped popcorn
  •   candy corn
  •   Plastic gloves
  •   ribbon
  • Use clear plastic gloves (not rubber), like the ones cafeteria workers use. The gloves can be bought at a kitchen supply store or possibly a supermarket. Put a candy corn candy in each fingertip in the glove so they look like fingernails. Then stuff the glove with popcorn, and tie the end of it with black and orange curly ribbon. You can also give these out as favors as your guests are leaving.

    Spider krispies:

  •   1/4 cup butter
  •   10 ounces marshmallows

    Swamp Slime

      Ingredients:

  •   lime jello
  •   orange jello
  •   whipped cream or cool whip
  •   gummy worms
  • Make lime jello and orange jello in two different pots keep separate and allow to cool. Put the green jello in a clear plastic container and wait until it is almost completely hardened and then add the orange jello. When the jello starts to solidify, add various gummy worms & bugs, stir and refrigerate. When you are ready add whipped cream or cool whip to the top of the slime. Decorate with candy bugs if you have them.

    Toxic Dump Dessert

      Ingredients:

  •   1 medium-sized bowl, clear if possible
  •   2 large pkg. orange Jell-O
  •   2 large pkg. blue Jell-O
  •   Gray speckled Jelly Belly's
  •   Gummi Lifesavers
  •   Gummi soda bottle candies
  •   Gummi fish candies
  • Place the gray speckled Jelly Beans into the bottom of the bowl. Cook the jello using instruction on the side of the box and allow to cool. Cube the Jello. Mix the gummi candies all together. Pour one fourth of the jello in bowl over jelly beans, trying not to disturb the candy "gravel" on the bottom. Pour some of the gummi mixture over the jello. Now add another fourth of the jello and then the gummies. Repeat this until jello and gummies are all in. Turn just once or twice with a wooden spoon, so you don't mess up the Jell-O too much. Refrigerate. Top with some cool whip and you have an intoxicating dessert!

    Trail Mix:

      Ingredients:

  •   popcorn
  •   cereal
  •   peanuts
  •   raisins
  •   potato chips
  •   pretzels
  • I like Halloween popcorn "trail mix" because no measurements are required and you can make it to suit your taste. Just mix any or all of the ingredients in a bowl. Be sure to cover with plastic rap until your guests arrive. Or add anything else that you like.

    Wobbling Blobs:

      Ingredients:

  • 2 lg. packs Strawberry-jello
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Applesauce
  • Spray 2 baking sheets with no stick vegetable spray. Mix the jello and the cornstarch together in bowl. Stir in 3/4 cup water and 1/2 cup applesauce. Microwave on high for 5 minutes or boil. Stir after 2-1/2 minutes and again after cooking is complete. Spoon 1 cup of mixture on each of the baking sheets. Refrigerate 20 minutes, or until set. Cut strips of Wobbling Blobs with sharp knife and pull off baking sheets. Place on lightly greased tray or baking sheets. Store in refrigerator until needed.

    Pumpkin Ice Cream:

      Ingredients:

  •   1 cup Pumpkin; canned puree
  •   1/2 cup Brown sugar
  •   1/4 cup Honey
  •   1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  •   1/2 ts Nutmeg
  •   1/2 c Ginger Ale
  •   1 qt Frozen vanilla Ice Cream
  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into dessert cups to serve. Make a face on each using corn candies. Keep frozen until ready to eat.
