Halloween Cupcake Ideas |
| Here's some great ideas for decorating cupcakes! Use your
favorite cupcake recipe or buy a mix. If the design you pick below needs
frosting, consider our frosting recipe.
There are some wonderful decorations
that can be bought that make decorating much quicker |
| Bat Cupcakes: |
Decorate the cupcake with orange icing. The bat wings are 2 halves of a
chocolate wafer. You can heat a knife with hot water so that the chcolate
wafers cut easily. The bats head is a piece of licorice. The eyes were made
by inserting red cinnamon candies. |
| Cat Cupcakes: |
Decorate the cupcake with orange icing. The cat pieces are all made of licorice.
The eyes were made by inserting red cinnamon candies. |
| Ghost Cupcakes: |
Cover the cupcake with chocolate icing. The ghost was made with coolwhip
or you can use whipped cream. Make the eyes by placing 2 chocolate chip
candies or using a tube of colored icing. You could use a strip of licorice
for the mouth. |
| Ghost Cupcakes: |
Cover the cupcake with orange icing. You need ghost shaped cookies to complete
this. See the cookie section on this site. Cover the ghost with white frosting.
Using a tube of black icing or a frosting bag, draw the eyes and mouth on
each cookie. You could use two chocolate chips for the eyes and a strip
of licorice for the mouth. Stick the cookie on the cupcake and secure with
frosting. |
| Rest in Peace Cupcakes: |
Take a pre made oval sandwich cookie and write the letters "R.I.P." on it
with icing in a tube. Any color. Let the icing dry a bit. Insert the
RIP cookie partially into a cupcake that has been pre frosted with green
frosting to make it look like a graveyard. Decorate the cup cake with a
candy pumpkin if you like. |

Decorate with vanilla icing or orange. The spider was made with a
gumdrop. Make the legs with strips of licorice. |
| Witch Cupcakes: |
Cover the cupcake with green icing. Make the eyes by attaching blue M&M's
or candies with white frosting. Using a tube of red icing draw a mouth or
use a piece of licorice. To make her hair use chocolate icing. The hat is
a chocolate ice cream cone. You could make a nose with a pice of corn candy. |
