Gummy Spiders


Use a large black gummy candy for the spiders body. Insert strips of licorice sticks or pretzels for legs into the gummy candy. Use cinnamon dots for eyes.		 gummy spider

Ice Cream Cone Surprise


Ingredients
  • Ice cream cones, colors if possible
  • Round cookies - any kind
  • Candy - different kinds
  • Cake icing
    		•
    Get the ingredients above ready. Use any round cookies and any assortment of candies and cake icing. Combine and mix all your candy in a bowl. Place each cone, hole side up, in a cup to hold it and fill the cone with candy mixture to top. Now put cake icing around the cookie edge and attach the frosting side of the cookie to the top of a cone. Allow the frosting to dry and harden. Now slowly turn over the cone so that the cookie is now on the bottom. If you like you can decorate the cones by sticking candy to them with icing.

    Jack-O-Lantern Candy


    Ingredients
  • 2 tbs. Butter
  • 1.25 cup Icing sugar - sifted
  • 1 cup Cocoa; unsweetened - sifted
  • 1/2 cup Milk; Evaporated
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk; Evaporated
  • 1 cup Peanuts; chopped
  • 2/3 cup Coconut; shredded
  • Orange food coloring
  • Pretzel sticks or-Licorice whips

    Combine peanut butter and butter in medium bowl. Microwave at High 45-60 seconds till melted. Stir till blended. Gradually add icing sugar and cocoa alternately with evaporated milk till smoothly blended. Stir in peanuts. Chill till firm enough to shape into balls. Color coconut with red and yellow food coloring to desired shade of orange. (Shake coconut and food coloring together in jar with tight lid.) Form spoonfuls (about 1 Tb sp) of chocolate mixture into balls. Roll into coconut and insert small piece of pretzel or licorice into top for stem. Chill well before serving. Store, covered in refrigerator. Makes about 2 dozen.

    Pop Ghosts


    Ingredients
  • Paper Towels
  • Tootsie Roll Pops
  • Rubber bands or sting
  • Markers

    Open the bag of lollipops, Tootsie Pops do work best, grab one lollipop and wrap a piece of tissue paper or cloth around it and tie it with a piece of ribbon, string or rubber band where the stick and the candy part of the lollipop meet. Decorate the cloth with markers, craft stickers, etc. to make a face on the ghost. Perfect for treats or party favors! Hang the "Lolly Pop Ghosts" with the string from the ceiling or rafters. Makes a cute (QUICK) snack!

    Pop Spiders


    Ingredients
  • Tootsie roll pops work best
  • 4 pipe cleaners per spider
    		•
    Take a tootsie pop and wrap 4 pipe cleaners around the bottom of the paper. Bend the pipe cleaners to look like the spiders legs. Now glue either paper eyes you have made or store bought plastic eyes to the part of the spider where you wrapped the pipe cleaners around the stem. There your done!

    Litter Box Candy


    Ingredients
  • large box of grapenuts
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • bag of tootsie rolls
  • rectangular plastic container
    		•
    Combine a large box of grapenuts with powdered sugar and mix well. Unwrap the tootsie rolls and place them in the box and let your guests help themselves! You could buy a pooper scooper at a dollar store and that would make a nice effect.

    Make your own Tootsie Rolls


    Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup powdered milk
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
    • Combine all ingredients and mix well. Roll the mixture into long cylinders using your hands. Cut into short pices. Set aside and allow to set.
