The trick is to place a pole going through the middle
to keep pumpkins steady. Select a pot that the pumpkins sit nicely in. Place
the pole (broom handle) in the pot of soil all the way in. Cut a hole the size
of the pole in each pumpkin and slide pumpkin over the pole. Left, was decorated
by cutting round holes in pumpkins. It looks impressive at night with the lights,
and in daytime too. The one the right is a scary skeleton. Be creative, make
your own design. Battery operated lights are safest. |
