These planters can really give your garden that spooky Halloween look.
You can find planters like these on the WWW (search under: Halloween & Garden)
or at your local garden shop. The planters are made in plastic so are not as
expensive as you might think, and remember that they are reusable year after
year. You can fill them with flowers from your garden or even fill it with gourd
and small pumpkins.
The one to the right was really decorated nicely. It has large multi colored
bats around it and the trim around the middle is rows of little skulls, with skulls on the base also. |

by the same manufacturer. It has a nice flower shape to it and again is designed
for Halloween spooking. Notice the skulls completely around the rim of the planter
and more skulls around the base. This is a one color planter that looks like
real stone. You can fill them with flowers from your garden or even fill it with gourd
and small pumpkins. |

If you have no place to store the pots or you don't want to purchase
the pots you can make a fantastic looking planter from a pumpkin. Depending
on the size of the pumpkin you can either place flowers directly in the pumpkin
or even insert a pot with a plant inside. If your hobbie shop has them, put
some fake black plastic plants in the pumpkin. You could also use this for a
table centerpiece. |
