This Jack-o-Lantern was made with two ordinary peach or apple baskets. The two
baskets were joined together by joining the wire handles together on both sides
with string. After they are tied together, bring the basket set outside and
then color the basket set with orange spray paint. Be sure to place newspapers
underneath to catch any over spray. The face was painted on with black matte
paint using a small brush. You could also use a magic marker. Practice making
the face on paper before doing the baskets. The scene is completed by placing
a few gourds or a plant on top. And what a great way to recycle. |
