Ideas For Decorating Stairs |
| Here are some photos to give you some ideas
for decorating your stairs for Halloween. Use jack-o-lanterns to light the stairs.
For safety sake put a high intensity glow stick inside for light instead of
candles. Make sure that the stairs are easy to navigate for your guests. |
Traditional:
This is a nice traditional decoration that is easy to make and will
also be a nice display for Thanks-giving time. Simply place a variety of pumpkins
on your steps using different sizes and colors of pumpkins. |
Jack-O-Lanterns:
This stair decoration is much like the traditional one above but has
Jack-O-Lantern faces carved on the pumpkins. Several pots of mums or dried flowers
makes this a terrific display. |
Don't fear the reaper:
These stairs are sure to catch the my eye of a neighbors. This was
made with an old costume from the movie "Scream" mounted to a wooden
frame. You could use any old costume or make a scarecrow. The bails of hay,
pumpkins and corn stocks can be purchased at a garden shop or at a farm. Be
sure to leave room for your quests to navigate. |
Spooky Stairs:
This is a neighbors stairs that I came across and wanted to share with
you. It has a couple of mannequins dressed in costumes at the top. Below them
is a sign saying "Happy Halloween" that welcomes everyone. One side
of the steps are lined with Gargoyles while the other side was lined with pumpkins.
Corn stocks were placed on both sides of the door and a couple of black cats
complete the scene. |
