| Pumpkin People |
| You will need a long pole wood or
steel (broom handle). Use the pole to stack the pumpkins together
on top of each other to hold them in place. Push the end of the rod
right into the ground through your pumpkins to prevent them from toppling
over. To stack pumpkins, cut a 1 inch hole in each pumpkin except
the top, slide the pumpkins onto the pole with the largest on the
bottom. |
Pumpkin Snowman:This Pumpkin snowman was made by placing
3 varying sized pumpkins together on top of each other like the photo on the
right. Hollow out and carve a face in the top smallest pumpkin that will be
thee head. Use twigs for arms and a bucket for a hat or make a paper hat. You
can light the head and body of the pumpkin person with a candle for night time.
It looks impressive at night with the lights, and in daytime too. Battery operated
lights are safest. |

This Pumpkin snow woman was made by placing 2 pumpkins together on
top of each other like the photo on the right. Hollow out and carve
a face in the smallest pumpkin for the head. Use twigs for arms and
a old straw hat with a scarf. You can light the head of the pumpkin
person with a candle for night time. Battery operated lights are safest. |

Pumpkin Skeleton:This Skeleton was made by placing 3 pumpkins together on top of each
other like the photo on the right. You may want to practice drawing on paper
and than transfer the pattern to the pumpkins. Hollow out and carve a face in
the pumpkin that will be the head than do the 2 body pumpkins. It looks very
impressive at night when it is lit and in daytime too. Battery operated lights
are safest. |

Celestial Pumpkin:This design was made by placing 3 pumpkins together on top of each other
like the photo on the right. It was placed in a large planter. It is a beautiful
creation. The elaborate design was decorated by cutting round holes in the 3
pumpkins. It looks like a Planetarium at night with the lights, I bet you could
make your own design? Battery operated lights are safest. |
