Silhouettes:

Turn your windows into a spooky display. These silhouettes can be bought or you can make your own from black paper.

Old Curtains:

Add Halloween spirit to your windows by makeing some spooky looking curtains. Use old material or sheets and wash them with gray clothes dye. Rinse & wash them until you are sure that there is no extra dye. Tatter the edges to make them look old and ragged. Don't sew, stable the curtains.

Boarded up:

Board up the windows with thin wood or cardboard. Place cutouts mentioned on this page in window. Be sure that all boards can be easily removed in an emergency.

Cutouts:

Consider decorating your windows with some pictures that you drew yourself. Cutouts from black construction paper make easy Halloween window decorations that can be reused year after year. Draw your images on black construction paper with a pencil. Cut the image out and use scotch tape to attach to windows. There are lots of pages that you can color on this web site and use to decorate your house. Go to the "Coloring Pages" . Print, color and hang them up on your windows.
