Decorating the Bathroom

mirror

Bloody Mirror:

Add a touch of Halloween to the mirror. Decorate with washable water color paints. The red paint was mixed so that it was a thick consistency. Place some news-paper under your mirror to catch drips. Put the red water color paint in a flat container and dip your hands in the paint and than press against the mirror. I bet the children would be happy to do this for you.
Throne

Shower Curtain Set:

You can find matching Halloween sets like these at department stores or on the web. Your family and guests will know you cared enough to give them the best. People are always impressed with the fact that you even decorated the lou. Note that the shower hooks are shaped like Halloween corn candy, what a nice touch.hooks
tp

T- Paper:

How nice to have this lovely critter in the bathroom waiting for your quests. Put a fake plastic bug or snake on top of your TP. This spider was purchased at a party store.
jar

Hand Scream:

What a great idea to have a jar of hand cream in the bath. Use an old jar and put plastic bugs, frogs or snakes in the jar. Add a drop or two of green food coloring. Now complete the jar by printing my lable or make your that says "Hand Scream".
pumpkins

Hand Towels:

You can buy Halloween towels already made or decorate your towels with a cloth iron-on bought from a crafts store. Many different sew-ons are available so you can customize your own.
mouse

Rubber Mouse:

Place a rubber mouse on the floor where it is out of the way but can still be seen. Place the mouse in a real mouse trap if available.
ghost ballons

Ghosts:

Place balloons with a ghost face behind your shower curtain. You can use regular white balloons or several helium filled balloons. Both look great, but the helium balloons are a bit scarier because they will move around a bit. The faces can be drawn on with a marker if you don't find balloons with faces. Put up some plastic spiders on the curtain also.
sign

Door Sign:

Let your guests know where the lou is? Draw a drawings in our coloring pages section, or make one of your own. Print "Rest Room" on one side and "occupied" on the other so that the sign can be turned over when in use.
pumpkins

Jack-o-lantern:

Decorate the rest room for quests by placing a Jack-o-lantern with a scented candle in it. Note the water theme to go with the bathroom. Or place some 3" pumpkins in the bathroom in a nice arrangement.
window

Windows:

Add Halloween spirit to the windows with spooky curtains. Use old material, or sheets washed in gray dye. Rinse and wash to remove extra dye. Tatter the sheet edges to make them look old. Or decorate yourself. Go to the "Coloring Pages" on this web site.
