Groceries
Groceries

What you need.

  • large brown paper leaf bag

  • piece of corrugated cardboard

  • thick string

  • empty grocery containers

  • glue gun
  • 1. Cut the bottom off the leaf bag.
    2. Measure the length & width of the bag's top and cut a piece of cardboard that is 4 inches longer than the bag on both the length and width. Fold up 2-inch flaps in the front and back of the cardboard.
    3. Cut an oval hole in the middle of the cardboard big enough for your waist. Make a small hole with a nail in the 4 corners of your cardboard to attach a piece of string to the 2 left sides and another to the right side. The string will be the straps to hold costume up. Apply glue to the 4 flaps on the cardboard and glue inside the top of the bag about 4 inches from top.
    4. Fill the top of the bag with Groceries using clean empty food containers such as Milk, Cereal, Eggs, and snacks. Make sausage links by inserting inflated balloons into a long nylon stocking leg and tying knots between the links.
    5. Make a milk carton hat (or other box) by washing the container cutting the bottom off and then cutting an opening for your face in the front panel.
