| Poodle skirts were the big thing for girls back in the 50's. You can use any long skirt you have or get one from a thrift shop or yard sale. The Poodle applique should be sewn or ironed on. Wear a short-sleeve blouse or an angora sweater, white bobby socks, saddle shoes or white sneakers, and a scarf for neck. Put your hair in a ponytail if you can and hold it with a rubber band. If you have an old 45 rpm record box you could use this to collect candy in.By putting on a pink jacket you change to a pink girl from the movie "grease." Quotes: "Gee, this sure is a swell party." | Roll up the cuffs on the blue jeans. Wear a white T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Wear a pair of black shoes or boots with white socks. Comb your hair back and make it slick looking, use hair spray. Leather jackets were the big thing back in the 50's but you can wear a highschool jacket with a letter on it also. Or wear a red jacket an go as the "Rebel without a cause." Have a comb sticking out of your pocket. | ||
