 My name is Murray I was 27 when I got HSE , I was taken to the General Hospital here in Ottawa on Good Friday of 2006 by ambulance after having a seizure at home & having family call 911. I spent over 2 months in the hospital then a month at a rehab center here in Ottawa.
I am still recovering from the HSE, the virus also attacked my right eye & even after surgeries I am left blind in one eye. It has been a HUGE adjustment for me to get used to between the loss of some memory, not being as energetic as I once was, not being completely the same as I once was & only seeing out of one eye. Thankfully my family & partner have all been there for each other & for me because I would be lost without them and our 3 cats. My partner and I are getting married August 18 2007 after a long past year.
